Well, guess what? I'm away again. In Rome! I'm enjoying lots of delicious pasta, pizza, gelato, and diet coke. Yes, diet coke - it's different here and SO amazing. Don't ask me why :)
Anyways, I wasn't able to make last week's Carrot Cookies or today's Chocolate Ganache Ice Cream, so I'm adding those to my list of rewinds. I'll try to make next week's bread here - does anyone know where I can find applesauce / what I can substitute for it? Oh, and I have a few rewinds that will be up this week. Come back soon!

If you can find apples, you can make your own applesauce. It's quick and easy. Take 4 medium to large apples; peel, core, and quarter them; place in pan with about 1/4 to 1/2 cup water; bring to boil, simmer for 10 minutes or until soft. Mash or puree. You can add sugar to taste, or some lemon juice, if you want.
thanks so much judy!
